WVCTS provides services to Job Corps graduates and former enrollees residing in West Virginia who meet the criteria for Job Corps career transition services.

Serving youth ages 16-24, Job Corps is a residential training program, although there are some non-residential slots available at the Charleston Job Corps Center.

Certified training is offered in a multitude of areas of career technical training: auto mechanics, business technologies, culinary arts, certified nursing assistant, network cabling, medical office support, hospitality, facilities maintenance, carpentry, painting, and more. WVCTS provides transitional support to Job Corps students who either graduated or completed a component of the training program by identifying employment opportunities and community resources.
